USEFUL TOOLS (FREEWARE)

Total commander: file manager for Windows. It also packs/unpacks files, provides access to ftp servers, compares files by content. (Shareware)
Olifant: Translation Memory (TM) editor.
Wingrep: searches files for text strings and displays them in context.
Clip control: copies/pastes file names (selected with the mouse) onto any text editor.
Notepad++: source code editor (and Notepad replacement), which supports several programming languages, running under the MS Windows environment.
POedit: translation editor of PO files.
Characters counter: useful to shorten text strings.
